He received his PhD from the European University Institute for a study of unemployment benefit policy in France and the UK.


Recent and current positions


Currently a Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh, he was previously Lecturer in Comparative Social Policy at the Universities of Stirling and Oxford, and a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at CEVIPOF in Paris.
